Nation-wide

Founded in 1992, National Engineering Month (NEM) is a cross-country festival of volunteer-organized events that takes place the first week of March each year. (The NEM 2011 dates are from February 26 to March 6)

The purpose of NEM is to raise public awareness of the importance of engineering and technology in our daily lives and to encourage young people to consider careers in engineering and technology.
